Executive Chef North DivisionChef Lehmann joined Unilever Foodsolutions team as chefs in 1986. He brings to the position over 40 years of culinary experience that spans the globe. Chef Lehmann began his culinary apprenticeship in Germany in 1963. From this beginning, he traveled to chef posts in France, Sweden, United-Stated, Canada and on cruise ships. He has completed in the international Culinary Olympics as a German National Team Member. Chef Lehmann maintains professional involvement in numerous culinary organizations including the American Culinary Federation, The Canadian Culinary Federation, Research Chef Association, The Institute of Food Technologists, The Escoffiers Society-Toronto Chapter and Les Toques Blanches. He is a certified “Serve-Safe” food protection manager and certified executive chef. He has participated in numerous radio and television broadcasts in Canada and wrote articles for the American and Canadian trade magazines and new papers. In 2006 Chef Lehmann was inducted into the Escoffier Scoety of Chicago and in 2007, he was inducted as an honorable member of the American Academy of Chefs. Chef Lehmann coordinates all branded and custom-formulated product development for Canada, supervises world-class facilities and provides customers in North American foodservice accounts with creative culinary and operational solutions. |
