Chef Rudy Smith, CEC

Corporate Chef

Rudy graduated with high honors from the Culinary Institute of America in 1986 and later went back to teach at the school for several years.  He has taught in Brazil and Mexico as well as in the U.S.  He is a member of the American Culinary Federation and was selected as the Chef of the Year by the Mid-Hudson Culinary Association Chapter in 1996.  Rudy has won Gold and silver medals in both national and international competitions including the 2000 Culinary Olympics.  He has also coached several student teams at the CIA in regional competitions.  He has held Executive Chef  positions in several independent fine dining restaurants as well as club and resort properties during his 30 years in the industry.
