Ask a chef how to pronounce "aioli" and you may hear I-OH-LEE or A-OH-LEE. Both pronunciations are commonly used and refer to the same classically inspired sauce⁄condiment. You’ll find Hellmann’s® Real Aiolis go far beyond traditional condiments to help you create unique sandwiches with authentic ingredients.

Originally from southern France, aiolis are tricky to make from scratch. Because they are emulsions, the exact ingredients and blending methods greatly affect the success of the aioli. That’s why, until recently, aiolis were predominantly found in fine-dining establishments where they were made by skilled chefs who had been trained to make them properly. Hellmann’s® now makes it possible to have consistent aiolis in all segments.
