Prepare the Sandwich

  • Chicken Breasts, skinned, boned and flattened 10 each
  • Sugar 1 t
  • Soy sauce 0.25 cup
  • Fish Sauce (Vietnamese) 0.25 cup
  • Ginger, chopped fresh, grated 1 T.
  • Garlic, chopped 0.5 oz
  • French Baguettes 10 each
  • Daikon and carrots, shredded and pickled 1 lbs.
  • Cucumbers, seedless, sliced longways 1 each
  • Cilantro, one bunch 1 each
  • Basil 1 oz
  • Mint 1 oz
  • Jalapenos, sliced (optional) 2 each
  1. Prepare the Sandwich

    • Marinate chicken in sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, ginger and garlic for about 2 hours.
      Grill chicken.
    • Spread baguettes evenly with mayonnaise.
    • Top with chicken breast, carrots, cucumber, leaf of basil, mint and jalapeno, if desired.
    • Serve immediately.
