Prepare the Dipping Sauce

Prepare the Wings

  • Chicken wings, drumettes and wings 1.13 kg
  • Vegetable oil for fying
  • Scallions, green parts thinly sliced 75 g
  1. Prepare the Sauce

    • Melt the butter in sauté pan over medium high heat. Fry ketchup in butter for 1 minute. Add soy sauce and cook for another 10 seconds. Pour in hot sauce and honey, bring to simmer and turn off heat.
    • Finish with the Knorr® Ultimate Intense Flavours Miso Umami. Add sesame seeds and hold warm until needed.
  2. Prepare the Dipping Sauce

    • Whisk together the Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise, roasted sesame oil, honey and lime juice. Season to taste. Refrigerate until needed.
  3. Prepare the Wings

    • Roast wings in a 180 C oven for 30 minutes.
    • Fry the wings in a shallow pot or deep fryer until crisp. Toss with enough sauce to coat. Garnish with sliced scallions and serve with dipping sauce.
