New York Strip with Morel Mushroom Sauce
Pair your New York strip with a sauce made from onions, garlic, morel mushrooms, thyme and white wine. Complement the dish with a side of grilled asparagus, baby onions and a shoestring fries.

Prepare the Steak

New York Strip Steaks 10.0 each

Kosher salt and black pepper to taste 1.0 pinch
Prepare the Sauce

Extra virgin olive oil, as needed

Onion, yellow, small dice 1.0 each

Garlic cloves 2.0 each

Salt, kosher, as needed

Morel mushrooms, finely chopped 150.0 g

Thyme, fresh, minced 1.0 g

White wine, dry 250.0 ml

Lemon juice, fresh pressed 1.0 each
Preparation

Prepare the Steak
- Rub steaks with oil, salt and pepper.
- Grill to desired doneness.
- Arrange steak on a plate with desired sides, slicing before plating, if desired.
- Spoon sauce over steak and serve.
- Consider complementing your dish with a side of grilled asparagus, baby onions and a shoestring fries.

Prepare the Sauce
- While the steak rests, add extra virgin olive oil to the pan.
- Add onions and mushrooms and cook until onions begin to caramelize.
- Add the garlic and thyme, cook a minute more.
- Deglaze the pan with white wine. Reduce by ¾.
- Add the prepared Knorr® Hollandaise Sauce and season to taste with lemon juice and salt.

- Arrange steak on a plate with desired sides, slicing before plating, if desired.
- Spoon sauce over steak and serve.
