Filet Mignon with Garlic and Rosemary Sauce
Take your traditional filet mignon and add a sauce with caramelized shallot, garlic and rosemary for an elegant plate focus that pairs well with roasted potatoes and asparagus.

Prepare Filet Mignon

Filet Mignon 10.0 each

Salt, kosher, as needed 1.0 pinch

Black pepper, ground, as needed 1.0 pinch

Prepare the Sauce

Extra virgin olive oil, as needed

Garlic cloves 3.0 each

Black pepper, ground, as needed

Caramelized shallots 375.0 g

Rosemary, fresh, minced 3.5 g
Preparation

Prepare Filet Mignon
- Season the steaks and pan sear to desired doneness.

Prepare the Sauce
- While the steaks rest, add extra virgin olive oil to the same saucepan over medium heat.
- Add shallots, garlic, and rosemary and cook until the shallots are heated through and the garlic has softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add prepared Knorr® Brown Sauces and Gravies Demi Glace and cook until heated through.
- Season to taste with pepper.

To Serve
- Top each filet mignon with 120 ml of the sauce.
- This filet mignon pairs well with roasted potatoes and asparagus.
