Prepare Filet Mignon

  • Filet Mignon 10 each
  • Salt, kosher, as needed 1 pinch
  • Black pepper, ground, as needed 1 pinch
  • Vegetable Oil, as needed

Prepare the Sauce

  • Extra virgin olive oil, as needed
  • Knorr® Demi Glace Sauce Mix, prepared 1 pt
  • Rosemary, fresh, minced 2 T.
  • Garlic clove 3 each
  • Caramelized shallots 2.5 cup
  • Black pepper, ground, as needed
  1. Prepare Filet Mignon

    • Prepare steaks to desired doneness.
  2. Prepare the Sauce

    • While the steaks rest, add extra virgin olive oil to the same saucepan over medium heat. Add shallots, garlic, and rosemary and cook until the shallots are heated through and the garlic has softened, about 3 minutes. Add prepared Knorr Demi-Glace Sauce Mix and cook until heated through. Season to taste with pepper.
  3. To Serve

    • This filet mignon pairs well with roasted potatoes and asparagus.
