Preparation

  1. Umeboshi-Mint Ranch - Ingredients

    • If making ranch from scratch, whisk mayonnaise, buttermilk, and ranch mix until smooth, then chill.
    • In a bowl, whisk the ranch with umeboshi paste until fully combined and uniform.
    • Fold in the chopped mint and mix evenly.
    • Taste and adjust with a little more umeboshi for tang or ranch for softness if needed.
    • Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving cold.
